Claiming this offer is incredibly easy, and can be done in three steps:
- Sign up for a brand new account with BetMGM using bonus code HANDLE.
- Make an initial deposit of $10 or more.
- Place your first bet up to $1K on any sports market or event type, not just MNF!
If that first bet hits, you’ll get paid out in cash and the promotion will end there – but you will start out in the win column! If it comes up short, however, you will get your entire stake back (up to $1,000) in the form of free bet credits.
Qualifying users will receive their free bets within 24 hours of the risk-free bet’s grading and must use them within 1 week (7 days) or they will expire. If you lose more than $50 on your risk-free bet, the free bets will be paid out in increments of 20%, meaning a player that loses $100 would receive five (5) free bets worth $20 each.
Be sure to remember that free bet credits only pay out the eventual winnings, never the free bet stake on any bets won. For instance, if a bettor won a $100 cash bet at +100 odds, they would get back their $100 stake plus $100 in winnings, totaling $200. If the same bet was logged and won using a free bet, the player would unfortunately only take home $100 in winnings – the free bet value is not included.

Rams vs 49ers betting preview
This week’s Monday Night Football matchup features a heated divisional clash between the Los Angeles Rams (2-1) and the San Francisco 49ers (1-2). This game could prove to go a long way for either side, as a win would pull San Francisco into a four-way tie atop the NFC West standings, while a Rams victory would lift Sean McVay’s squad into sole possession of first place. There’s a lot riding on tonight’s game, and we’ve got you covered with a betting preview ahead of the festivities. Let’s get into it.
Rams +1.5 with BetMGM
The Los Angeles Rams will enter tonight’s game fresh off of a wire-to-wire road victory at Arizona in Week 3, 20-12. It was a much-needed boost of confidence for the defending Super Bowl Champions, as they struggled a bit in each of their first two games to begin the new campaign. Now riding high back at 2-1 overall, they’ll attempt to pick up consecutive divisional road wins for the first time since 2018.
Matching up with San Francisco has not been easy for Los Angeles, especially as of late. The Rams have lost six-straight regular season contests against the 49ers dating back to 2019, getting swept by San Francisco in each of the previous three seasons. Los Angeles did manage to eke out a win over the 49ers when it mattered most in last year’s NFC Championship Game, however they were trailing 17-7 heading into the fourth quarter and failed to cover the 3.5-point spread in their 20-17 win.
This game has always been trouble for HC Sean McVay and company, as Niners HC Kyle Shanahan holds an 8-3 advantage against the spread since the two head coaches were both hired ahead of the 2017 season. San Francisco has covered six of their last seven games against the Rams, including an ongoing streak of five straight covers. When you consider their dominance in this matchup coupled with the angle of revenge from last year’s playoff loss, all signs point to another 49ers victory.
49ers -1.5 on BetMGM Sportsbook
Oddsmakers are clearly starting to take notice when it comes to San Francisco’s success against Los Angeles, as the 49ers opened up as the favorite in this matchup for the first time since December 21, 2019. After finishing a clean 3-0 on covers against the Rams in 2021 as 3.5-point underdogs in all three meetings, the 49ers now find themselves laying 1.5 points against LA, a five-point swing from last season.
This line may be surprising to some following San Francisco’s abysmal performance on Sunday Night Football that resulted in a 11-10 loss to the Denver Broncos, and for good reason – the 49ers offense has not looked the part thus far. But in all fairness to Jimmy G and company, they’ve only played one game since he regained his position as the starter and were held in check by a solid defense on the road at one of the tougher places to play in the NFL. Given an extra week of practice with the starters and a matchup where he’s experienced great success, expect a major leap from Garappolo and the offense on Monday night.
The defensive side of the football is where San Francisco can really take control of this game, as Matthew Stafford and the Rams’ offense have looked incredibly vulnerable when faced with pressure this season. In LA’s Week 1 drubbing at home that ended 31-10 in favor of the Buffalo Bills, Stafford was sacked 7 times for 49 yards and never managed to get anything going offensively. Since then, Stafford has been sacked just once per game – both of which resulted in wins for the Rams. The good news for San Francisco? They rank 5th in the NFL with an 8.99% sack percentage in 2022, which is not too far off from Buffalo’s league-best rate of 10.24%.
