Free bets do not return the stake on any wagers cashed, meaning you will only receive the winnings when using a free bet – keep this in mind. Free bets at BetMGM do expire at 7 days of issuance, so make use of them before it’s too late!
Note: Do not use your initial $50 free bet until after you’ve locked in your first cash bet for the risk-free portion of the promotion. If the $50 free bet is used prior to that, your account will no longer be considered eligible for the risk-free bet. Take advantage of the risk-free bet first, andΒ thenΒ make use of that free $50!
Saints vs Cardinals TNF game details & betting preview
- Date: Thursday, October 20th, 2022
- Start Time: 8:15 pm ET
- TV Channel: Amazon Prime Video
- Location: State Farm Stadium, Glendale, Arizona
- Participants: New Orleans Saints (2-4) vs Arizona Cardinals (2-4)
- BetMGM Sportsbook Odds: Cardinals -2.5 (-115), O/U 43.5
New Orleans Saints +2.5 (-105)
It’s been somewhat of a struggle for HC Dennis Allen and his New Orleans Saints to begin the 2022 campaign, as injuries continue to plague the team’s roster. Things will not be getting any easier with just three days rest between Sunday’s 30-26 home loss to the Cincinnati Bengals and tonight’s TNF clash with the Arizona Cardinals.
New Orleans will be without star wideout Michael Thomas for the fourth consecutive game, while WR Jarvis Landry is set to miss his third straight contest. The good news for New Orleans is that rookie standout WR Chris Olave will be making his return after missing last week’s game against Cincinnati. G Andrus Peat and TE Adam Trautman round out the Saints’ injuries on offense, while CB Marshon Lattimore is the only notable piece missing on the defensive side of the football. Andy Dalton is expected to start at quarterback despite Jameis Winston’s return from injury, however Allen has yet to make any confirmations on that front.
New Orleans will now enter its first true road game since the team’s Week 3 loss at Carolina, 22-14. The one silver lining here? Arizona can’t seem to get out of its own way when playing at State Farm Stadium – the Cardinals have lost eight straight home games entering tonight.
Arizona Cardinals -2.5 (-115)
Cardinals HC Kliff Kingsbury may be on his way to the hot seat sooner than later following his team’s incredibly underwhelming 2-4 start to begin the season. Arizona enters this Thursday night matchup having lost each of its last two games, with last week’s 19-9 dud at Seattle looming large on Kyler Murray and company.
Murray and the Cardinals’ offense did take a big hit this week as G Justin Pugh was ruled out for the season after suffering a torn ACL, and will be without another major piece on the line as C Rodney Hudson is set to miss tonight’s game. RB James Conner is listed as questionable after missing last week’s game against Seattle, while K Matt Prater hopes to make his return after missing each of Arizona’s last two games.
Despite all of these injuries, the biggest storyline surrounding Arizona ahead of tonight’s game is the highly-anticipated return of WR DeAndre Hopkins, who will make his 2022 debut after missing the first six weeks of the season due to a suspension. Following Hollywood Brown’s foot injury against Seattle, Hopkins will be complimented by the newly-acquired speedy wideout Robbie Anderson. Considering the boost both Hopkins and Anderson should provide plus the potential return of Conner, this one is shaping up to be a must-win for Kingsbury and his struggling Cardinals.
