It may require a bit of help, but the Dallas Cowboys (11-4, 9-6 ATS) still have life in terms of winning the NFC East division. The 13-2 Philadelphia Eagles would need to lose in each of their next two games against the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants, while Dallas would need to win out on the road against the Titans and Washington Commanders.
It all begins tonight in Nashville, where Dallas will have no choice but to take care of a depleted Titans team if they wish to keep this dream scenario alive for at least a few more days. The Cowboys come into tonight’s Thursday Night Football showdown playing some of their best ball of the season, winning five of their last six contests. Dallas’ lone loss over that stretch came in overtime against Trevor Lawrence and the spunky Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 15, who will host Tennessee next weekend with the AFC South division title up for grabs regardless of what happens tonight.
As far as injuries are concerned, Dallas will be without its speedy RB Tony Pollard in tonight’s game as he nurses a thigh injury. In Pollard’s absence, rookie RB and former Florida Gator Malik Davis is expected to handle Dallas’ duties on the ground alongside Ezekiel Elliott.

The Tennessee Titans (7-8, 8-6-1 ATS) have established themselves as one of the AFC’s most consistent contenders over the last few seasons under HC Mike Vrabel, but have run into a bit of a wall as of late. After upsetting the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on TNF during Week 11, the Titans have now dropped five straight contests while losing their longtime starting QB Ryan Tannehill to a likely season-ending ankle injury in the process.
Tennessee suffered by-far its worst loss of the season at home last week when it fell to the 1-12-1 Houston Texans at home in rookie QB Malik Willis’ first start since Tannehill went down. The win for Houston snapped the team’s nine-game losing streak, which speaks volumes to the current state of the Tennessee Titans. With a majority of the roster banged up and tonight’s game against Dallas essentially meaningless for the Titans’ playoff hopes, Vrabel is opting to roll with backup QB Joshua Dobbs in this one.
Malik Willis will be joined on the sidelines by a slew of Tennessee’s regulars, including workhorse RB Derrick Henry, who is currently listed as doubtful but is not expected to play. The Titans’ defense will also be missing a ton of key playmakers as ILB Zach Cunningham, OLB Bud Dupree, S Amani Hooker and DE Jeffery Simmons have all been ruled out. DE Denico Autry and CB Kristian Fulton are also listed as doubtful. Considering next week’s meeting with Jacksonville is a win-and-in game for either side, don’t expect the Titans to waste too much energy in what has went from a juicy primetime matchup to a bye week for Tennessee.
