Maryland has seemingly beaten the teams they are supposed to beat, but are winless in the four games they’ve played as the underdog in 2022. The Terps will try to fix that in their last game against a depleted NC State squad.

Although the offense may be in for a long afternoon, the defense has been borderline elite this season. The Wolfpack are allowing just 19.4 points per game, good for 14th in the FBS. Drake Thomas leads this Wolfpack defense with 75 tackles and 13 TFLs. If NC State wants to win, it’ll have to start on defense, where they’ve been dominant all year long.
