Week 1 was filled with close games and underdog victories. We even got to see a tie! But there’s still one game left and the Monday Night Football showdown is shaping up to be a great one, with Russell Wilson making his debut on the Denver Broncos against his former team.

Below we’ll breakdown the game, and detail the top BetMGM bonus offers available for Monday Night Football.

BetMGM Bonus Code: HANDLE – $1K Risk-Free for MNF

Capitalizing on BetMGM’s $1K risk-free bet offer is an excellent way to put a bow on a fantastic week one of NFL football.

For those unfamiliar, risk-free bets are among the most common welcome offers for legal mobile sportsbooks in the U.S. Here’s what you need to know: if you win your first bet, job done. You start with a positive bankroll and can withdraw your winnings immediately.

However, if you lose your first wager – that’s where you want the “risk-free bet”. BetMGM will kick in the risk-free stipulation of the bonus offer and will give you your money back as a free bet. You can think of a free bet as store credit. You can’t withdraw it or put it in the bank, but you can spend it with BetMGM. Free bets can be used to bet on any BetMGM betting market without the risk of losing your own money.

For this risk-free offer BetMGM will cover your first bet up to $1,000. That means you could wager $1000 on the Broncos tonight and if they lose, you’ve got $1,000 in free bets coming your way.

Just click here and use the BetMGM bonus code HANDLE to secure your Monday Night Football betting bonus.

Things to keep in mind…

Be mindful that this offer is only available in select states, and for users aged 21 and up. BetMGM free bets earned through this promotion will only stick around for seven (7) days. If you don’t bet with them, they will disappear. Lastly, when using free bet credit the stake is not returned as a part of any winnings. For example, a $1,000 wager with “free bets” at +100 would only earn a $1000 total pay day if it wins. A similar bet with cash would return $2000 ($1K original stake + $1000 profit).

Broncos at Seahawks MNF General Info

  • Date: Monday, September 12th, 2022
  • Start Time: 8:15pm ET
  • TV Channel: ESPN
  • Location: Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington
  • Participants: Denver Broncos @ Seattle Seahawks
  • BetMGM Odds: DEN -6.0 (-115), O/U 44

Why the Broncos can cover the -6 on BetMGM Sportsbook

Let’s make no mistake: this one will be personal for Russell Wilson on Monday Night. Wilson played the first decade of his NFL career in Seattle, where he set franchise records left and right, went to 9 Pro Bowls, and helped them to a Super Bowl victory over Denver in 2014.

Although Wilson proved to be one of the league’s elite quarterbacks during his stint in Seattle, the last two years were not nearly as smooth. Wilson has probably had this game circled ever since the schedule dropped – I’m sure he would love nothing more than to stick it to Pete Carroll and John Schneider in a convincing victory on Monday. BetMGM Sportsbook currently has Wilson’s passing yards prop set at 251.5, and 1.5 touchdowns.

Denver should be be better

And if you look beyond the emotional angle, the Broncos are a much better football team. The quarterback matchup heavily favors Denver, and the Broncos should have advantageous matchups all over the field.

Edge rusher Randy Gregory will debut for Denver after signing a monster contract in the offseason to join forces with Bradley Chubb. The tandem will take on Charles Cross and Abraham Lucas for Seattle; each rookie is filled with plenty of promise, but they should have their hands full tonight.

In addition, the Broncos receiving corps of Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, and KJ Hamler should find themselves open early and often. The Seahawks will be breaking in Tariq Woolen, a 2022 5th-round pick, and Mike Jackson, who only has four games logged in four seasons of action.

Why the Seahawks can cover the +6 with BetMGM Sportsbook

As emotional as this is for Russell Wilson, the 12s of Seattle will be screaming their heads off at Lumen as the Seahawks try to pull off the upset.

Although the Seahawks are transitioning into a rebuild without Russell Wilson, the team is filled with talent on both sides of the football. DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are still one of the more fearsome wide receiver duos in the NFL. You can bet Metcalf’s receiving yards total at 57.5, and Lockett’s at 52.5 with BetMGM.

In addition, despite the relative inexperience, the Seahawks’ offensive line looked promising in glimpses of the preseason. They showed lots of success running the football with Rashaad Penny late in 2021 and will look to carry that over into tonight. Penny’s yardage line has bet set by BetMGM at 68.5, and you can get +230 on him getting 20+ rushing attempts.

In a week where we saw the Bears, Steelers, and Vikings pull off home upsets, why can’t the Seahawks?
