To conclude the NFL Divisional Round, we head to Santa Clara, California for a rematch of last year’s crazy Wild Card matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers. In last year’s meeting, the Cowboys hosted the 9ers in a game with one of the crazier finishes you’ll ever see in a postseason game.

The Cowboys will have revenge on their minds as they try to defeat a scorching-hot San Fran team that has won 11 straight games. Before this one begins, new signups at BetMGM Sportsbook can claim a $1K Risk-Free Bet plus an additional $50 free bet when they register for an account using the bonus code SHNEWS50.

What a way to end the game! #SuperWildCard pic.twitter.com/esKKpbkrQn

BetMGM Risk-Free Offer Explained

To be eligible for this offer, you must be 21+ to play on BetMGM Sportsbook. In addition, you must be in an active BetMGM state:

  • AZ, CO, IA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MI, NJ, PA, TN, VA, WV, or WY

If you already have a BetMGM Sportsbook account, you are out of luck with this welcome offer.

To get your BetMGM experience started, use the bonus code SHNEWS50 upon registration. To qualify for this offer, you must make a minimum deposit of at least $10.

Once you’ve made your deposit, it’s time to place your risk-free wager! Place a bet anywhere from $10 to $1,000 on any BetMGM market to your desire. You can wager on Dallas vs. San Francisco – if you don’t want to, that’s perfectly okay. This offer extends towards any game or market on BetMGM. If your risk-free bet falls short, BetMGM will issue you a 100% refund in the form of a bet credit.

If your risk-free wager is $50 or less, BetMGM will provide you with a single bet credit. If your wager is more than $50, you will receive five bet credits, each worth 20% of your lost stake. You should expect to receive your bet credits within 24 hours of your risk-free wager’s settlement.

In addition to your risk-free bet, regardless of a win or loss, BetMGM will issue you a $50 free bet on the house! Your bet credits have a shelf life of seven days before they’re gone.

BetMGM will not pay you out with the initial stake if you win a bet using your bet credits. For example, if you win a bet using a $20 bet credit on a market with +150 odds, you would receive a $30 payout, not $50 ($20 stake + $30 in winnings).

Reigniting Cowboys vs 49ers 1990s Rivalry

Old football fans will be in heaven for this matchup.

The Cowboys and 49ers are two of the most storied franchises in the National Football League. Each franchise is tied for the second-most Super Bowl wins with five and with a victory tonight, they’ll be just two wins away from tying the record of six.

The Cowboys and 49ers were cream of the crop teams in the 1990s. Both of these franchises faced off in three consecutive seasons between 1992-1994 – Dallas won two of these matchups.

49ers Looking to Extend Streak to 12 Straight

There isn’t a team hotter in the NFL than the San Francisco 49ers. They’ve won 11 straight games and are showing no signs of slowing down.

Mr. Irrelevant, Brock Purdy, is 5-0 since he assumed the starting job a few months ago after Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a season-ending injury. Not only have the 49ers been winning games, but they’ve been doing so in a convincing fashion. The 49ers have covered eight of their last nine games.

They are just 4-point favorites against the Cowboys. Although Dallas may not have the top-to-bottom talent that the 49ers do, they certainly have plenty of elite players on both sides of the ball to make this an exciting contest.

Cowboys Seeking First NFC Championship Appearance in 27 Years

Although the Cowboys are one of the most accomplished franchises in NFL history, the accolades have been light during the 21st century.

With a win on Sunday Night, this would be the Cowboys’ first NFC Championship Game appearance since 1995. If Dallas were to win, they would face off with one of their NFC East counterparts in Philadelphia or New York.
