BetMGM Ohio $1K Bet Insurance Breakdown

In order to be deemed eligible for this welcome offer, you must be located in Ohio at the time of placing your initial wager with the site. This also must be your first time signing up with BetMGM Sportsbook, regardless of whether or not you registered in a different state. Lastly, all users must be 21 years or older to legally wager in Ohio.

Begin the signup process at BetMGM by filling in all of the requested personal details. While doing so, don’t forget to enter the bonus code HANDLETOP. Clicking on that link will take you directly to the site with your promotional offer automatically applied.

After completing the account creation process, fuel your new account with a deposit of $10 or more.

Take those funds over to the virtual sportsbook at BetMGM and place a sports wager ranging from $10 to $1,000 on any market available on the site.

If that initial cash wager ends up flopping, BetMGM Ohio will have your back with a full refund in the form of bet credits, capped at $1,000. If your promotional wager was worth more than $50, your bet credits will be divided up into five individual tokens, worth 20% of the total stake each. If your bet was for less than $50, you will take home a single bet credit token equal to the amount that you happened to lose.

Keep in mind that BetMGM will keep your bet credit’s stake even if the token is flipped into a winner – but any winnings that result are yours to keep. The bet credits will come with a shelf-life of just 7 days, so be sure to use them before they expire.

Bengals at Bills game info + betting preview

  • Date: Sunday, January 22, 2023
  • Start Time: 3:00pm ET
  • TV Channel: CBS
  • Location: Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, New York
  • Participants: Cincinnati Bengals (12-4) vs Buffalo Bills (13-3)
  • BetMGM Sportsbook Ohio Odds: Bills -5.5 (-250), O/U 48.5

The first of two highly-anticipated postseason matchups taking place today will kick off at 3:00pm ET from Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park and pit the defending AFC Champion Cincinnati Bengals against the hungry Buffalo Bills.

As most football fans can recall, these two sides last met back in Week 17 in Cincinnati for the final rendition of Monday Night Football during the 2022-23 regular season. The Bengals jumped out to an early 7-3 lead thanks to a 14-yard touchdown pass from Joe Burrow to Tyler Boyd, however the game was eventually suspended after Bills S Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field after tackling Bengals WR Tee Higgins. Thankfully for all parties involved, Hamlin made a remarkable recovery and is now back with the team while his condition continues to improve every single day.

Now that Hamlin is in stable condition, both teams can hopefully put that scare behind them and compete at a high level later this afternoon. Buffalo enters the Divisional Round coming off a 34-31 nail-biter against the division rival Miami Dolphins, while Cincinnati managed to escape its own division rival in the Baltimore Ravens with a final score of 24-17.

The Bengals did, however, suffer a few key injuries in the process of punching their ticket to the next round. Cincinnati will be down a pair of starters on its offensive line when they take on the Bills, as both LT Jonah Williams and RG Alex Cappa have been officially ruled out.
