$1250 First Bet on Caesars: what you need to know

Here’s how to ensure you receive your First Bet up to $1250 welcome bonus from Caesars Sportsbook:

  1. You will need to verify that you are indeed at least 21 years of age and are signing-up for the first time ever with the Caesars mobile sportsbook app. — and by using the HANDLENEWSFULL promo code. If you are under the age of 21 (except in Wyoming, where the age requirement is 18+), then you will not be eligible for this offer and you will not be able to place real money sports wagers online with Caesars.
  2. You must be physically located within one of the statewide markets that Caesars operates in when placing real money wagers. Caesars Sportsbook is currently available in the states of Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
  3. After signing up with the promo code HANDLENEWSFULL, make a deposit of $10 or more and then head over to the sportsbook to lock in your First Bet on Caesars.
  4. In the event of a loss, your First Bet on Caesars promotional credit will arrive in your account in the exact amount of your very first bet, and it will be a single-use credit. So if your first real money wager on Caesars is for $1250 (or more), then the promotional credit you will receive will be in the amount of $1250 (maximum). If your first wager is made for $10 (the minimum allowed for this offer), then the single-use credit from Caesars that you will receive will be for that amount — $10.
  5. Your first bet can be used on any of the three bowl games that are being played today, or you can wait up to 30 days to place your first real money wager with Caesars. First bets that are placed more than 30 days after your initial deposit will not count towards this promotion.
  6. The bonus credit will only appear in your account if your very first wager with Caesars is graded as a loss. If you win your first bet, then your account will receive the programmed payout as stipulated, and the single-use bonus will not be applicable.
  7. Assuming you signed-up with Caesars using the promo code HANDLENEWSFULL and your very first wager is unsuccessful, you will need to use your First Bet credit within 14 days, for the exact amount of your first bet (up to a maximum of $1250). The First Bet token cannot be used over the course of multiple subsequent bets.

Pinstripe Bowl Game Info & Betting Preview

Date: December 29, 2022
Scheduled Kickoff Time: 2:00pm ET
Live Television Coverage: ESPN
Location: Yankee Stadium – The Bronx, New York
Competing Teams: Minnesota Golden Gophers (8-4) vs Syracuse Orange (7-5)
Exclusive Bowl Sponsor: Bad Boy Mowers
Caesars Sportsbook Odds: Minnesota -11 (-420), O/U 44 Points

Minnesota -11 favorites with Caesars Sportsbook

The Minnesota Golden Gophers (8-4, 5-4 Big Ten) dropped three games in a row during October to Big Ten rivals Purdue, Illinois, and Penn State, which quickly ended the team’s hopes for an appearance in the College Football Playoff.

However, Minnesota University is stacked with talent, starting with the quarterback position led by dual talents Tanner Morgan and Athan Kaliakmanis. Running back Mohamed Ibrahim had a breakout year for the Golden Gophers this season, averaging 5.2 yards per carry with a career-best 19 rushing touchdowns.

What’s more, Minnesota’s defense has been solid in 2022, while Syracuse has struggled offensively — which could be a major contributing factor to Minnesota’s designation as a heavy 11-point favorite at Caesars.

Cheez-It Bowl Game Info & Betting Preview

Date: December 29, 2022
Scheduled Kickoff Time: 5:30pm ET
Live Television Coverage: ESPN
Location: Camping World Stadium – Orlando, Florida
Competing Teams: #13 Florida State Seminoles (9-3) vs Oklahoma Sooners (6-6)
Exclusive Bowl Sponsor: Cheez-It
Caesars Sportsbook Odds: Florida State -10 (-400), O/U 65 Points

Caesars has Seminoles listed as -10 favorites

The Oklahoma Sooners (6-6, 3-6 Big 12) may have (justifiably) missed their opportunity for a better bowl game matchup on October 8th, 2022 — the moment time expired in the Red River Showdown versus conference rival Texas at the Cotton Bowl, with the Sooners finding themselves on the business end of a 49-0 blowout loss. Although Oklahoma managed to score close to 33 points per game during the 2022 regular season, they allowed 32.27 points per game in what has become a yearly concern for the Sooners’ defense.

For their part, the #13 ranked Florida State Seminoles (9-3, 5-3 ACC) dropped three consecutive games in October (versus Wake Forest, NC State, and Clemson) in what would become a defining moment for the team’s standing within the Atlantic Coast Conference for 2022.

With that said, the Seminoles bounced back nicely at the end of the season, and won their last five contests while outscoring their opponents 218-77 in the process (39 of those points allowed were in the Seminoles’ regular season finale against the Florida Gators). For many sports betting fans in the United States, the Seminoles could be the team “most likely” to post a forty-burger in today’s bowl games.

Alamo Bowl Game Info & Betting Preview

Date: December 29, 2022
Scheduled Kickoff Time: 9:00pm ET
Live Television Coverage: ESPN
Location: Alamodome – San Antonio, Texas
Competing Teams: #12 Washington Huskies (10-2) vs #21 Texas Longhorns (8-4)
Exclusive Bowl Sponsor: Valero Energy Corporation
Caesars Sportsbook Odds: Texas -3 (-155), O/U 66 Points

Caesars gives Longhorns -3 “home field” edge

The #21 Texas Longhorns (8-4, 6-3 Big 12) enter tonight’s game as the lower-ranked college football team in the matchup, but are expected to have a significant home field advantage at the indoor Alamodome complex in San Antonio — a comfortable one hour drive southwest from Austin.

Texas dropped a gut-wrenching 21-20 decision to the #5 Alabama Crimson Tide early in the season at Memorial Stadium, and lost by a touchdown to both #3 TCU and Oklahoma State to go along with a field goal loss to the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Yet the #12 Washington Huskies (10-2, 7-2 PAC-12) are no slouch. After losing two games in a row to UCLA and Arizona State, Washington rebounded with six straight wins — two of which were over Top 25 ranked teams in Oregon and Oregon State.

Thanks to the Alamodome closed venue, both teams will be playing indoors on a field that will not have been impacted by the recent severe weather, which could make for a high-flying, action-packed contest between two closely matched teams.
