Claiming your Caesars Sportsbook bonus

Your First Bet on Caesars up to $1250 can be claimed by following three simple steps:

  • Sign up for a brand new account at Caesars Sportsbook using promo code HANDLEFULL.
  • Place your first wager of $10+ on any sports market or bet type up to the promotional cap of $1250. Your initial wager can exceed $1250, however nothing beyond that amount will be covered by Caesars in the event of a loss.
  • If your bet wins, great! You’ll get paid out in cash and the promotion ends there. However if it loses, Caesars will credit your account with a single-use free bet credit equal to your lost stake.

Caesars bonus T&C

All users must place their First Bet on Caesars within 30 days of account creation or the offer will no longer be valid. As stated above if your bet wins, you win and the promotion ends there. Eligible users who come up short will receive a single-use free bet credit equal to their lost stake within 48 hours of bet settlement.

Always keep in mind that free bet credits only pay out the winnings, never the stake on any wagers won. For example, if a player wagered a $50 free bet on a game at +100 odds and won, they would only get back $50 in winnings. If the same bet was placed and won using cash, the player would get back their initial $50 stake plus the $50 in winnings, totaling $100. Free bet credits at Caesars Sportsbook can be used on any sports market or bet type, so you aren’t restricted to betting on NFL – feel free to spend it however you wish. Lastly, all free bet credits are set to expire after 14 days, so use them fast!

In order to be deemed eligible, all players must be 21 years of age or older. This offer is available to new users located in AZ, CO, IA, IL, IN, LA, MI, NJ, NY, TN, VA, WV, & WY.

Buccaneers vs Cowboys betting preview

This season’s first rendition of Sunday Night Football will showcase a rematch of the 2021 regular season opener that featured Tampa Bay narrowly defeating Dallas at Raymond James Stadium, 31-29. The Cowboys managed to cover the game as a 9-point underdog, however Tampa Bay walked away victorious and would go on to win twelve more games and finish at 13-4 overall. Dallas was no slouch the rest of the way, as they ripped off six consecutive wins after starting 0-1 and eventually finished at 12-5 on the season. After both teams fell short and failed to reach the NFC Championship Game in the postseason, the stakes couldn’t be higher on opening night as they once again face off to begin their respective seasons.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -2.5

The Buccaneers will enter Year 3 of the Tom Brady era on Sunday night, just months after the legendary gunslinger pulled a complete 180 in regards to his retirement. Now that Brady is all-in for 2022, Tampa Bay will look to make the most out of its roster that lost key pieces in TE Rob Gronkowski, RB Ronald Jones, S Jordan Whitehead, DT Ndamukong Suh, LB Jason Pierre-Paul, and most importantly head coach Bruce Arians, who transitioned into an executive role with the team during the offseason.

Newcomers on the Buccaneers include WR Russell Gage, WR Julio Jones, S Logan Ryan, and S Keanu Neal. The team also drafted rookie RB Rachaad White out of Arizona State and TE Cade Otton out of Washington. As far as the rest of Tampa Bay’s offense goes, RB Leonard Fournette, WR Mike Evans, and WR Chris Godwin all return, so this season should be business as usual for Brady and his cronies despite the loss of star center Ryan Jensen to an injury over the summer. It is worth noting that Godwin’s status for Sunday is up in the air and will likely come down to a game-time decision.

Caesars Sportsbook currently has the 45-year old Tom Brady at +700 – the joint favorite – to lead the league in passing.

On the defensive side of the ball, Tampa Bay returns the majority of its defense that finished Top 5 in the NFL in points allowed per game (20.8) in 2021. Following Arians’ departure to the front office, former-Bucs DC Todd Bowles will take over as the team’s head coach. Bowles spent each of the last three seasons calling plays on defense for Arians and will now attempt to lead the charge in Tampa Bay. Entering a hostile environment on opening night will be a tough task for Bowles and his Buccaneers, who finished just 3-6 against the spread in games away from home last season.

Dallas Cowboys +2.5

The Cowboys will be entering a crucial Year 3 of their own in 2022, as head coach Mike McCarthy looks to follow up his successful sophomore campaign in Dallas with another winning season. After going 6-10 in his first year with the team, McCarthy exceeded expectations in 2021 when his team finished 12-5 overall. Those expectations were quickly heightened after Dallas fell to the San Francisco 49ers at home in the Wild Card Round, and it is now more than clear that McCarthy will need to win at least one playoff game this time around in order to satisfy the hungry fanbase. Think they’re going forward? Caesars currently has the Cowboys at +2000 to win the Super Bowl.

On offense, Cowboys QB Dak Prescott will be faced with a bit of a challenge early on after star OT Tyron Smith went down with a fractured knee back in August. On top of losing the anchor of its offensive line to injury, Dallas also lost WR Amari Cooper via trade and WR Cedrick Wilson Jr. via free agency. Even so, they managed to retain TE Dalton Schultz and OC Kellen Moore and return mainstays in RB Ezekiel Elliott, RB Tony Pollard, and WR CeeDee Lamb. Rookie WR Jalen Tolbert out of South Alabama will also look to play a major role early on with WR Michael Gallup still recovering from a torn ACL.

Dallas also brings back its defensive coordinator in Dan Quinn, who lifted the Cowboys’ defense from 28th overall in 2020 to 7th overall in 2021 in his first season with the team. The loss of DE Randy Gregory to Denver is definitely going to sting, but Dallas did manage to add 4x Pro Bowl LB Anthony Barr and re-sign a pair of surprising safeties in Jayron Kearse and Malik Hooker. Backed by a core that still includes LB Micah Parsons, CB Trevon Diggs, and DE Demarcus Lawrence, Dallas should be able to replicate its strong 2021 – and it all begins on Sunday night with revenge over Tampa Bay.
