Ohio State Buckeyes at Duke Blue Devils

  • Date: Wednesday, November 30th, 2022
  • Channel: ESPN
  • Start Time: 7:15 pm ET
  • Location: Cameron Indoor Stadium, Durham, North Carolina
  • Participants: Ohio State Buckeyes (5-1) vs. Duke Blue Devils (6-2)
  • FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: Duke -5.5, O/U 136.5

To start the night, we head down to Durham, North Carolina, where two ranked opponents will square off.

The Ohio State Buckeyes will try to extend their winning streak to four games against the Duke Blue Devils, who are coming off a decisive loss at the hands of another Big Ten opponent in Purdue.

Ohio State is coming off two impressive wins in their non-conference slate that will boost their resume for March: a 28-point blowout victory over in-state rival Cincinnati and a win over Texas Tech.

The Buckeyes have a nice blend of veteran presences led by Zed Key and transfers Sean McNeil and Isaac Likekele, as well as a dynamic duo of freshmen in Brice Sensabaugh and Bruce Thornton.

For the Blue Devils, new head coach Jon Scheyer leads a very inexperienced group that makes their money on the defensive end of the floor. It’ll take some time to mesh with three of their top scorers being freshmen, including big man Kyle Filipowski, but this Duke team is gigantic, with three players standing at 6 foot 10 inches or taller logging serious minutes.

This game will have the feel of a Sweet Sixteen matchup and should be a real thriller until the very end.

North Carolina Tar Heels at Indiana Hoosiers

  • Date: Wednesday, November 30th, 2022
  • Channel: ESPN
  • Start Time: 9:15 pm ET
  • Location: Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, Bloomington, Indiana
  • Participants: North Carolina Tar Heels (5-2) vs. Indiana Hoosiers (6-0)
  • FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: Indiana -4.5, O/U 146.5

Another pair of ranked teams will square off in Bloomington as the 2022 national runner-ups will try to break their losing streak against a red-hot Indiana squad.

The Tar Heels are coming off two straight losses in the Phil Knight Invitational at the hands of Iowa State and Alabama – things will not get easier tonight against Indiana, who is 6-0 with an impressive road win over Xavier thus far.

Two of the country’s best big men will square off, but each will be playing hurt. Armando Bacot suffered an ankle injury in the team’s four OT loss to Alabama and will elect to play through the pain, while Trayce Jackson-Davis will play through a hand issue.

Outside of Bacot, UNC has a strong supporting cast of Leaky Black, RJ Davis, and Caleb Love, but they have not met expectations. Head coach Hubert Davis also went out and added Pete Nance from Northwestern from the transfer portal, who has added even more depth.

For Indiana, it’s all about Trayce Jackson-Davis, and Xavier Johnson sprinkled with some Miller Kopp and Tamar Bates production. Under head coach Mike Woodson, Indiana has been an extremely efficient offensive team.

Like the first matchup, this is a matchup you’d see on the second weekend in March. This one has all the makings of an offensive shootout that should be back and forth all game.
