$1K No Sweat Bet with FanDuel Sportsbook

The terms and conditions associated with this welcome bonus offer are clearcut, concise, and incredibly easy to follow. To begin placing bets with one of the industry’s top sports betting sites, follow along with three simple steps:

  • Create a brand new account at FanDuel by clicking on this link.
  • Fuel your new account with a deposit of $10 or more. The full amount that you plan to use on your $1K No Sweat Bet should be added at this time.
  • Fire away with a wager on any sporting event this weekend, up to the promotional cap of $1,000. You can wager more than $1K on your first bet, however FanDuel will only cover $1,000 of that wager in the event of a loss.

If your first bet fumbles at the goal line, have no fear. FanDuel will soften the blow by funding your account with a 100% refund in the form of free bet credits. Free bets will arrive within 72 hours of the initial wager’s settlement and must be used within 14 days or they will be removed from your account.

Free bets at FanDuel can be wagered in any increment, meaning they will not need to be wagered in one shot – use them as you wish. Do keep in mind that even when your free bet is marked as a winner, you will not get to keep the stake of the free bet itself – just the winnings.

Ohio State vs Penn State game details & betting preview

  • Date: Saturday, October 29th, 2022
  • Start Time: 12:00pm ET
  • TV Channel: FOX
  • Location: Beaver Stadium, University Park, Pennsylvania
  • Participants: No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes (7-0) vs No. 13 Penn State Nittany Lions (6-1)
  • FanDuel Sportsbook Odds: Ohio State -14.5 (-114), O/U 60.5

Ohio State -14.5 (-114) at FanDuel

It’s been nothing short of a dream season for HC Ryan Day and his No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes (7-0, 4-2-1 ATS) as they enter Week 9 tied with No. 1 Georgia as the odds-on favorite to win the National Championship at FanDuel Sportsbook (+180).

The Buckeyes have gone on an absolute rampage since Week 1’s narrow 21-10 victory over Notre Dame, putting up 45+ points on offense while winning each of its next six games by at least three scores or more. It is worth noting that despite the team’s recent tear, Ohio State has yet to face off against a fellow ranked team since taking down then-No. 5 Notre Dame, who hasn’t held a Top-25 ranking since Week 2. That is exactly why Saturday’s trip to Happy Valley could present more of a challenge for the Buckeyes than many seem to believe.

For those backing the Buckeyes against the Nittany Lions, history is on your side – or is it? The Buckeyes have owned Penn State in this series as of late, winning 13 of the last 15 meetings between the two Big Ten powers, including the last two at Beaver Stadium. But despite the domination, the games have been relatively close as of late, with Ohio State winning by less than two touchdowns in each of the last six matchups.

Penn State +14.5 (-106) with FanDuel Sportsbook

After suffering a crushing 41-17 loss to the No. 5 Michigan Wolverines back in Week 7, all hope for HC James Franklin’s squad making the College Football Playoff seemingly flew out the window. The Nittany Lions then returned home from Ann Arbor and responded accordingly with a blowout victory of their own over Minnesota, 45-17. Now sitting at 6-1 overall and just one game back of both Michigan and Ohio State in the Big Ten East standings, Penn State will have a golden opportunity on their hands as they host the No. 2 team in the nation on Saturday afternoon.

Despite entering this matchup on a five-game losing streak against the Buckeyes, Penn State has always managed to keep it close with OSU, specifically at home. The last time Ohio State would’ve covered a spread as big as this afternoon’s 14.5-point number dates all the way back to 2009, and the game was hardly even that lopsided at 24-7. And while Ohio State has won outright in 9 of the last 10, Penn State’s lone victory during that span occurred at home in 2016 against another undefeated No. 2-ranked Buckeye team.

Will history repeat itself? It’s hard to say, but the Nittany Lions should, at the very least, be able to hang around the number and present Ohio State with what should end up being their toughest game of the season thus far. An upset is not completely out of the question.
