FanDuel MA Launch DateMarch 10, 2023

We witnessed thrillers in the first half of the Sweet 16 as Gonzaga beat UCLA with a last-second three-point shot. UConn absolutely throttled Arkansas and is beginning to look like a potential championship team as their future odds fly up the board.

Now, we get to see these two face off in the Elite Eight. Currently, UConn is favored -2.5 and the O/U at 153.5 has already adjusted after a historic first couple rounds of low-scoring games.

This matchup has a chance to be very fast-paced and could come down to the final seconds. Check out below how we’re betting this game with the welcome offer from FanDuel Sportsbook.

Details of the FanDuel offers

A $10 deposit and $5 wager now grants Massachusetts customers $200 in bonus bets for any market or odds. There is also no promo code to activate the offer.

Whether you win or lose, bonus bets will deposit into your account within 24 hours. These bonus bets must be used within 14 days to avoid expiration.

All other states have access to the $1,000 No Sweat First Bet which recoups a stake loss with bonus bets up to $1,000. In order to claim this offer, customers only need a new account, a minimum $10 deposit and real-money wager on any odds or market up to $1,000.

Both offers are incredibly easy to activate and FanDuel ranks number one in the country with its simple website and favorable odds.

The bonus bets from both offers work the same and can be used by selecting the bonus bets as your funds on a betslip — you can use all or partial amounts on any wager. The bonus bet wagers are eligible for the cash earnings from the bet but the stake is forfeited.

For example, you unlock your bonus bets on Saturday night and use the bonus bets for the Bruins -110 against the Hurricanes on Sunday.

  • A Bruins win would yield $90.91 in cash but your $100 in bonus bets is gone.
  • A cash bet would yield the $90.91 and your $100 stake.

UConn-Gonzaga with the FanDuel Massachusetts Offer

The FanDuel Massachusetts offer grants us the $200 in bonus bets whether we win or lose. Therefore, we look for a favorable matchup or odds to squeeze value with a win from the bet AND the bonus bets.

UConn has proven it can go the distance with three point shooting and beating teams in almost blowout fashion. Gonzaga will prove to be the most challenging opponent for UConn so far, however.

Both teams have been darkhorse teams, not favored to win a championship and undervalued. I like UConn -132 to win outright.

The spread -2.5 pays better at -107; however, this game could be so tight you just don’t know if a final jump shot or miracle three pointer wins the game by one or two points. Therefore, a moneyline wager protects us from a scenario where UConn wins but doesn’t cover.

  • A $5 wager and UConn win would net $3.79 in winnings, the $5 stake and $200 in bonus bets.
  • If Gonzaga moves on to the Final Four, you still get the $200 in bonus bets!
