FanDuel MA Launch DateMarch 10, 2023

Tuesday night marks the beginning of the NBA postseason. There will be two play-in games with the seven and eight seeds playing from both conferences.

The first matchup is the Atlanta Hawks vs. the Miami Heat at 7:30 p.m. ET on TNT. The Heat come into the matchup 4-1 in their last five while the Hawks are 3-2.

The Heat are a 5-point favorite and -200 on the moneyline, with a 67 percent chance to win the matchup. If the Heat win on Tuesday night, they move on to face the Boston Celtics in a seven-game series in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

Find our pick for the first play-in game below and how to unlock your FanDuel Sportsbook offer, which can be used on any market or odds.

FanDuel MA offer requirements

There are only a few requirements to access the bet and get offer from FanDuel Sportsbook.

  • 21+
  • Be physically located in a state that offers FanDuel
  • Have a valid deposit method

How to sign-up for FanDuel

  1. Go to the FanDuel Massachusetts page, either via computer or mobile app.
  2. Find the ‘join now’ button to set up a new account with an email address, username and password.
  3. Deposit a minimum $10 and make a minimum $5 wager on any market or odds.

FanDuel offer, explained

FanDuel offers customers in Massachusetts and all states the chance to bet $5 and win $150 in bonus bets with no promo code. The bonus bets are yours whether the bet wins or loses.

There is no requirement for market or odds for your first wager. All you need to do is set up a new account, make a minimum $10 deposit and minimum $5 bet on whatever market you prefer.

The bonus bets will hit your account within 72 hours of the bet settlement. Any bonus bets from FanDuel Sportsbook are valid for 14 days from receipt into your account.

Let’s go through how to use your bonus bets once they hit the account. You win bonus bets from Tuesday and are now available for a Friday or Saturday wager.

You place $100 of bonus bets on the Golden State Warriors -103 to take the first game on the road against the Sacramento Kings.

  • If the Warriors win, you earn $97.09 and forfeit the bonus bets
  • If you deposit cash for the bet, you earn $97.09 and the $100 stake back

Betting on Hawks-Heat

The Heat have played well at the right time of the season. Over the past five games, they have gone 4-1, defeating some top teams such as the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Atlanta Hawks dealt with a difficult schedule in the final stretch of the season which resulted in losses to the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers. There is young talent on the team, including Trae Young and Dejounte Murray, but this may not be enough to advance them to a playoff series.

I trust the Miami Heat with Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro to advance on to the first-round playoff series. Take the Miami Heat at -200 on FanDuel in order to access the bonus bets.

There are no odds requirements from FanDuel so it pays to pick up a favorite in order to gain the $150 in bonus bets with minimal cost. Whether the Miami Heat win or lose, the bonus bets will deposit to your account when you follow the steps listed above.
