$1K No Sweat First Bet Explained

How does this welcome bonus work? It’s really quite simple! All first-time players that are 21+ years old and located in an active FanDuel Sportsbook state can claim a $1,000 No Sweat First Bet by doing the following:

  • Begin the account creation process at FanDuel Sportsbook by clicking on this link. In doing so, the offer will automatically be applied to your new account.
  • Fund your account with a first-time deposit of $10 or more. Be sure to upload as much as you want to risk on that $1,000 No Sweat First Bet.
  • Place a sports bet ranging from $10 to $1,000 on any college football market offered on FanDuel Sportsbook. If you prefer to bet on World Cup, NBA, NHL, or college basketball instead, that works too – feel free to wager on any sport of your choice.

If your bet settles as a winner, you’ll get paid out in cash per usual and the promotion will unfortunately end right there. However if your bet ends up losing, FanDuel will have your back with a 100% refund in the form of free bet credits.

College Football Championship Saturday Schedule

Saturday’s college football schedule is primed to be one for the ages, as there are eight conference championships up for grabs. Ranging from the Sun Belt to the SEC, there’s a little something for every college football fan to get excited about during this action-packed weekend of chaos. Without further ado, here is the lineup for December 3:

  • Dr. Pepper Big 12 Championship: No. 10 Kansas State vs No. 3 TCU
  • MAC Championship: Toledo vs Ohio
  • Sun Belt Championship: Coastal Carolina vs Troy
  • SEC Championship Game: No. 14 LSU vs No. 1 Georgia
  • American Athletic Championship: No. 22 UCF vs No. 18 Tulane
  • Mountain West Championship Game: Fresno State vs Boise State
  • Big Ten Championship Game: Purdue vs No. 2 Michigan
  • Subway ACC Championship: No. 9 Clemson vs No. 23 North Carolina

Big 12 Championship: No. 10 Kansas State (+2.5) vs No. 3 TCU (61.5)

Arguably the biggest and most important game of the day will kick off at 12:00pm ET live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It’ll be none other than the undefeated, No. 3-ranked TCU Horned Frogs vying for a spot in the College Football Playoff against the No. 10 Kansas State Wildcats.

Although Kansas State has virtually no path to the CFP left at 9-3 overall, the Wildcats are an incredibly talented group and should not be overlooked in this matchup. Kansas State enters Saturday’s game on a bit of a tear as of late, racking up three consecutive wins of 17+ points against Baylor, West Virginia, and Kansas, and will look to carry its momentum into the Big 12 Championship against TCU.

These two teams last met back in Week 8 on October 22, when TCU rallied back from a 28-10 deficit in the 2nd quarter to shock the Wildcats with a final score of 38-28. TCU ripped off 28 unanswered points to not only complete the comeback, but also cover the 3.5-point spread in the process. This was one of many miraculously comebacks orchestrated by TCU this season, leaving many wondering how many more they might have left in them. With the spread for Saturday’s meeting coming in as low as 2.5 this time around, bettors should anticipate chaos taking place in this Big 12 thriller.

SEC Championship: No. 14 LSU (+17.5) vs No. 1 Georgia (51.5)

Saturday’s main event might not carry as many playoff implications as Kansas State vs TCU; however, it is shaping up to be another SEC classic. Brian Kelly’s surprising No. 14 LSU Tigers will look to continue their rise from the dead and potentially upset the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs at 4:00pm ET at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

With a win, Kirby Smart’s defending National Champion Bulldogs would likely lock up the top seed in the College Football Playoff rankings, whereas a loss wouldn’t really hinder Georgia’s season at all. If LSU was to pull off the shocking upset as a 17.5-point underdog on Saturday, Georgia would likely drop into the 2-4 range depending on what happens with the rest of the contenders.

LSU’s crushing 38-23 loss at unranked Texas A&M last weekend all but ended any hopes of LSU sneaking into the playoff themselves, which at one point seemed doable if they were to take down the undefeated Dawgs in the SEC Championship. Now that the books have been closed on that scenario, the Tigers can only hope to play spoiler and stick a knife into the Bulldogs’ perfect season – which Brian Kelly would gladly add to his list of signature wins.

Big Ten Championship: Purdue (+16.5) vs No. 2 Michigan (51.5)

Rounding out this super Saturday slate is an intriguing Big Ten Championship battle between the unranked Purdue Boilermakers and the No. 2 Michigan Wolverines. This high-stakes matchup will air on FOX and is set to kick off at 8:00pm ET live from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

There is no team under a bigger spotlight heading into Saturday’s games than the Michigan Wolverines, who shocked the college football world one week ago when they went into Columbus as an 8-point underdog and demolished the rival Ohio State Buckeyes, 45-23. Michigan not only further improved its chances of locking up a College Football Playoff spot with that win, but also jumped a fellow CFP contender in Ohio State in the process. If all goes well on Saturday night, Jim Harbaugh’s crew should be in position for its second CFP appearance in as many seasons.

While this one will rightfully be all about the Wolverines, Purdue is always up for a challenge and should not be overlooked. The Boilermakers will enter the Big Ten Championship Game winners of three straight contests, including a ranked win on the road over No. 21 Illinois three weeks ago – the same team that took Michigan down to the wire in Ann Arbor in Week 12, losing 19-17 in the game’s final seconds.
