FanDuel $1K No Sweat First Bet Explained

There are only three stipulations required for those who wish to claim this offer. In order to jump on your very own $1,000 No Sweat First Bet at FanDuel Sportsbook, you must be a new customer with the site, located in an active FD state at the time of wagering, and at least 21 years of age or older.

If you happen to qualify based on the criteria mentioned above, you can claim your offer by completing three quick, easy steps:

  1. Register for a brand new FanDuel Sportsbook account using this link. By clicking the link and completing the sign-up process, the offer will automatically be applied to your new account.
  2. Load up your account with a first-time deposit. At least $10+ will do, however we recommend uploading as much as you are willing to risk on your $1,000 No Sweat First Bet.
  3. Place a sports wager up to $1K on any market or event type offered by FanDuel. You can place your promotional wager on UConn vs Florida, opt for a different college basketball game, or roll with an entirely different sport if you wish.

If your first bet with FanDuel is a winner, it’ll be paid out fully in cash and you will begin your time with the site in the green – however, the promotion will unfortunately end right then and there. This offer really kicks in when your first bet loses – if that is the case, FanDuel will have your back with a 100% refund in the form of free bet credits.

All eligible players that lose their No Sweat First Bet can expect to receive their reimbursement within 72 hours of settlement and from that point on, will have up to 14 days to make use of the free bets. All free bet credits will arrive in one big chunk, but can be broken up into smaller wagers if necessary. The only drawback here is that any successful free bet wagers will only return the bet’s winnings, never the stake of the actual free bet.

This offer is currently available in the following FanDuel Sportsbook states: AZ, CT, IA, IL, LA, MI, NJ, NY, PA, TN, WV, and WY.

UConn Huskies -4.5 at FanDuel Sportsbook

Dan Hurley’s fifth season as the head man in Connecticut is off to a scorching-hot start, as his Huskies (9-0, 8-0-1 ATS) have yet to lose a game thus far and have shot to the top of the latest AP Poll, coming in at no. 5 in the nation. Although UConn has racked up its fair share of impressive wins on the young season, Wednesday’s roadtrip to Gainesville will serve as the team’s first true road game and should present a serious challenge.

There is really no other way to put it, UConn has been downright dominant to start off the 2022-23 campaign. After a quick 5-0 start against a lineup of less-than-desirable competition, the Huskies gained national relevancy by blowing the doors off Oregon (83-59), No. 18 Alabama (82-67), and Iowa State (71-53) at the Phil Knight Invitational in Portland, Oregon. Making that trip out west is never any easy task for a team like UConn; yet, these Huskies are clearly cut from a different cloth.

UConn followed up that massive roadtrip with a comfortable home win over Oklahoma State, 74-64, and will now enter an opponent’s actual home court for the first time all season. Although the Gators are just 6-3 overall and undergoing their first season in the post-Mike White era, Gainesville should never be overlooked and should bring the heat tonight against Hurley and company.

Florida Gators +4.5 with FanDuel

Former San Francisco Dons HC Todd Golden has gotten off to an all-around solid start in his first season leading the Gators (6-3, 4-5 ATS), but could take things to another level tonight if his team manages to knock off a Top-5 team at home on ESPN.

Florida’s 2022-23 campaign has featured a ton of ups and downs over its first month, starting with the Gators’ catastrophic early-season upset at home against FAU as a 12-point favorite. Florida did manage to shake that off by picking up a true road win at Florida State and an impressive neutral court win over Oregon State at the Phil Knight Invitational, but did struggle mightily in neutral battles at the same event against Xavier and West Virginia. After returning home and getting right versus a pair of cupcakes in FAMU and Stetson, Golden’s bunch will look for a third consecutive win – and a monster one at that.

The line for tonight is currently set at 4.5 points, with Florida G Kyle Lofton tabbed as a game-time decision after missing each of the team’s last two contests with a back injury. While the senior guard’s status remains up in the air, sophomore G Will Richard is set to play after dealing with a knee injury and being held out against FAMU along with Lofton. Richard did return in Florida’s 89-51 rout over Stetson on Sunday, dropping 14 points while going 4-4 from deep in just 18 minutes of action off the bench. Expect Richard to provide Florida’s starting lineup with a major boost and guide them to a king-sized upset for Todd Golden’s first signature win with the program.
