FanDuel $1K No Sweat First Bet Explained
FanDuel has made it incredibly easy for new bettors to claim their No Sweat First Bet good for up to $1,000, needing to meet only three conditions: You must be a new customer with FanDuel, you must be located in a state where FanDuel conducts active wagering at the time of wagering, and you must be at least 21 years of age.
If you meet all three criteria, congratulations! From there, you need to complete three simple steps to redeem this offer:
- Register for a new FanDuel account using this link. By clicking the link and completing the sign-up process, FanDuel’s offer will automatically be applied to your account.
- Make your initial deposit for a minimum of $10. Since the offer covers your first wager up to $1,000, we recommend you placing a wager for only as much as you are comfortable risking on your $1,000 No Sweat First Bet.
- Place your sports wager up to $1,000 on any market offered in this game or any event type offered by FanDuel if you don’t see anything to your liking in this one. You can place your wager on this Titans-Jaguars showdown, a different NFL Week 18 matchup with playoff implications, or an entirely different sport that strikes your fancy.
If your first bet with FanDuel is a winner, congratulations! You will be paid out in cash and go forward with a positive bankroll β however, your promotion ends with that payout.
This offer kicks in should your first wager lose. If that occurs, FanDuel will have your back with a 100% refund up to $1,000 in the form of bet credits.
All eligible bettors who lose their No Sweat First Bet should receive their reimbursement within 72 hours of the wager being settled. After bettors receive their bet credits, they will have 14 days to place their bet credits before they expire. Though the bet credits arrive in your account in one large amount, you have the option to break up the bet credits into smaller wagers. It’s also important to remember that winning wagers placed with the bet credits return only the bet’s winnings and not the stake of the bet credit placed.
This offer is currently available in the following states where FanDuel operates: AZ, CT, IA, IL, LA, MI, NJ, NY, PA, TN, WV, and WY.

Tennessee Titans +6.5 (-112)
Despite entering Week 18 on a six-game losing streak, the Titans can still qualify for the playoffs since a win over the Jaguars on Saturday night would give them the tiebreaker over Jacksonville by virtue of a better divisional record. Tennessee will be entering the game-well rested, with coach Mike Vrabel holding out most of his key starters in the team’s 27-13 loss to Dallas on Dec. 29.
Starting running back Derrick Henry, who ranks third in the NFL in rushing yards with 1,429, and six other starters were rested. Joshua Dobbs, who was poached off the Detroit Lions’ practice squad by the Titans on Dec. 21, will make his second start for the Titans after completing 20 of 39 passes for 232 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the Cowboys. FanDuel is offering an over/under of 182.5 yards for Dobbs at -114 on both sides of the wager, and he is a -200 option to throw a touchdown pass.
While Dobbs showed more vertical potential than rookie quarterback Malik Willis, Tennessee’s offense will rise and fall with Henry. The bruising running back is 71 yards shy of his third career 1,500-yard season and has battered Jacksonville in recent meetings. He rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown in Tennessee’s 36-22 loss to Jacksonville in Week 14 and has run for 200 or more yards twice in 12 career matchups with the Jaguars.
FanDuel is showing plenty of respect to Henry, listing his over/under for rushing yards at 92.5 for -114 on both sides. Bettors can also wager on his longest run of the game, with the over/under established at 17.5 yards, offering -102 for over and -130 for under. Henry has not had a run of longer than 17 yards in five of his six career games in Jacksonville.
Jacksonville Jaguars -6.5 (-108)
That Week 14 victory at Tennessee jump-started Jacksonville’s playoff drive as the Jaguars enter this contest winners of four straight. Jacksonville took care of business last Sunday in Houston, walloping the Texans 31-3 as Travis Etienne had a 62-yard touchdown run and cornerback Tyson Campbell ran a fumble back 12 yards to paydirt.
Etienne is eighth in the league in rushing with 1,108 yards. He was largely bottled up in the first meeting between the teams, held to 32 yards on 17 carries. FanDuel has set the over/under for Etienne’s yards at 68.5, offering -114 on both sides.
Trevor Lawrence, though, gamely picked up the slack in the win over Tennessee, throwing for a career-high 368 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for a fourth. That was a stunning reversal from his rookie season in 2021 when the No. 1 overall pick was intercepted five times in Jacksonville’s two losses to the Titans. Lawrence is 99 yards shy of becoming the third player in franchise history to throw for 4,000 yards along with Blake Bortles (2015) and Mark Brunell (1996).
Bettors have plenty of markets to choose from for wagering on Lawrence, including a Yes/No play on him throwing an interception at -110/-120 and an over/under of 1.5 touchdown passes split -130 for the over and -102 for the under. The over/under for Lawrence’s passing yards is 265.5 yards at -114 on both sides.
