Hard Rock Digital, looking to make deeper inroads into in-game mobile sports wagering, has announced a multi-state partnership with Simplebet to expand its short-form offerings.
“Hard Rock Sportsbook is committed to building the best product in the market, and we know our players will enjoy the addition of play-by-play bets on football, basketball, and baseball to our already robust selection of in-play offerings,” Matt Primeaux, president of Hard Rock Digital, said in a joint statement Tuesday. “Simplebet’s markets are perfect for sports fans that don’t have time for a full game and casino players that enjoy the thrill of quick-resolution games like slots, roulette, and blackjack. We believe this integration can provide entertainment for any type of online player and bring new players to our platform.”
The partnership comes at an opportune time for Hard Rock, as the NBA Finals will start June 1, with the Denver Nuggets awaiting the winner of the Eastern Conference finals between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics. The Heat currently lead that series 3-0, with Game 4 Tuesday night in Miami.
Simplebet, which counts Betr and Caesars Sportsbook among operators utilizing its platform, will also be providing Hard Rock with a microbetting platform for roughly two-thirds of the Major League Baseball season. In turn, Simplebet will enable in-game action for the ensuing NFL, college football, and college basketball seasons.

Hard Rock looking to increase viability in large markets
Hard Rock’s online sports wagering platform is currently available in seven states, including New Jersey, Indiana, Virginia, Ohio, and Arizona. In states where relevant handle figures are available, Hard Rock has generated more than $51 million in handle in eight months in Indiana , $47 million in 13 months in Virginia, $46 million in three months in Ohio, and $43 million in 13 months in Arizona.
Hard Rock ranked seventh in Ohio’s revenue report for March, the lone state of the five where it has posted an eight-figure monthly handle.
