Hard Rock bonus T&C
The current Hard Rock Sportsbook new player sign up offer is a $1,000 No Regret Bet. Here’s how the promotion breaks down:
Any new bettor with Hard Rock Sportsbook that signs up, makes a real money deposit, and places a cash wager of at least $10 bucks will be eligible for the No Regret offer. Under the promotion your first wager (min $10) will be repaid in the form of a Bonus Bet should it result in a loss.
So let’s say you registered with Hard Rock online sportsbook and placed your first bet of $100 on your favorite college basketball team to advance in March Madness. Afterward, well, the madness part factors in and the team you bet on gets bounced. However, through this offer, Hard Rock Sportsbook will actually credit your account with a $100 bonus bet to compensate for the the lost wager – a second chance of sorts.
Keep in mind that Hard Rock Bonus Bets expire after 7 days. Once they are issued, make sure you get back in there and place a bet with them. If you place a Bonus Bet wager and it wins, you will only receive the profit in return. The Bonus Bet stake is not returned to the user along with any winnings.
A Hard Rock sportsbook promo code is not required to claim this $1,000 No Regret Bet offer.
How to Sign up with Hard Rock Sportsbook
For new users, the registration process is straightforward – just keep in mind that there are a few different Hard Rock Sportsbook apps currently on the market. Users in AZ, IN, TN, and VA will have to flock to the newer, updated version of the app, while New Jersey and Iowa players will each have their own state-specific Hard Rock Sportsbook app to download. The newer version of the app can be accessed on desktop by visiting HardRockSportsbook.com, while the NJ version is available at HardRockCasino.com. Both versions of the mobile app are pictured below.
Now to get started with registration, head over to the home page of either app or desktop version of the sportsbook and click on ‘Sign Up’ or ‘Join Now’ – this will vary depending on which platform you are using. The registration process will begin by asking for your email and a password. Hard Rock will then ask for a series of personal details including the following:
First and Last Name
Gender
Date of Birth
Home Address
Phone Number
Last Four Digits of your Social Security Number
This information is crucial so that Hard Rock Sportsbook can verify you are of age and in a legal state of play. All of the information you provide will be kept digitally secure via government-approved software.
Users must be 21 years or older to bet. Bettors can register for an account and make their first deposit from anywhere, but it is required that bettors are within the state borders of Arizona, Iowa, Indiana, New Jersey, Tennessee, or Virginia while placing their first bet. For example, if someone lived in Pennsylvania, they could sign up and make their first deposit from the comfort of their own home, but they must cross over state borders into New Jersey to place a legal wager with Hard Rock Sportsbook.

Hard Rock Sportsbook State-by-State Breakdown
As mentioned above, Hard Rock Sportsbook is currently available in six different states. Below we will discuss the history of Hard Rock Sportsbook in each of these states and potential future states Hard Rock could land in moving forward. After all, they’re a big brand, with big plans. We expect to see them grow with the US sports betting industry rapidly.
Arizona
Hard Rock Sportsbook launched in Arizona in April 2022. Hard Rock Digital agreed to a partnership with Navajo Nation to tap into the desert market. The deal not only covers Hard Rock Sportsbook market access in Arizona, but the brand has also established a Hard Rock brick-and-mortar sportsbook at the Twin Arrows Casino Resort which is located in Flagstaff.
The first legal bet was placed in Arizona in September 2021, so Hard Rock Sportsbook AZ has been forced to play catch up in the Grand Canyon state. Competing brands had a head start, but in the end, Hard Rock will be hoping that quality wins out.
New Jersey
Hard Rock Sportsbook officially partnered with its very own Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City in 2018. Since then, Hard Rock has offered retail sports betting and launched online in New Jersey. However, there are some limitations in New Jersey that users would be wise to keep in mind. Bettors cannot bet on in-state college teams: Seton Hall, Rutgers, and even the 2022 NCAA tourney Cinderella team Saint Peter’s are off-limits in the Garden State. New Jersey is also one of two states (Iowa) that continues to operate on a separate, standalone version of the Hard Rock Sportsbook mobile app and website.
Iowa
Hard Rock Sportsbook agreed to partner with its own Hard Rock Casino in Sioux City. Like New Jersey, the casino offers retail sports betting and has since branched out to offer the Hard Rock Sportsbook online platform. Formerly in Iowa, bettors had to register in person at the casino to make an online account. That is no longer the case – this amendment has since been reversed as new bettors can create their online accounts within state borders. As is with NJ, Iowa-based bettors will need to download a state-specific Hard Rock app in order to access the platform in their state.
Virginia
Hard Rock hit the market in Virginia at the tail end of March 2022. While casino partnerships are not required for entry into the Virginia sports betting market, Hard Rock still had an “in”. The brand officially opened its very own ‘Bristol Casino – Future Home of Hard Rock’ on July 8, 2022, a temporary casino that will serve as a placeholder for the permanent Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol property that is set to debut at some point during the summer of 2024. The temporary casino, which replaced the Bristol Mall, boasts more than 800 slots, 20 tables to choose from, and operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Indiana
Hard Rock Sportsbook officially joined the party in Indiana when the brand went live online on September 6, 2022. Hard Rock managed to set up shop in the Hoosier State in partnership with its very own Hard Rock Casino in Northern Indiana, which first opened its doors for business on May 14, 2021. The property also runs an in-house brick-and-mortar Hard Rock Sportsbook, which was added into the mix back on May 11, 2022.
Tennessee
Hard Rock Sportsbook also went live in Tennessee on September 6, 2022, the same exact date that the brand launched in Indiana. Since a physical casino partner is not required in the state of Tennessee, Hard Rock Sportsbook operates in the Volunteer State on its own standalone license.
Florida
Hard Rock and its online sportsbook are both major players in the state of Florida. Unfortunately the sports betting situation in the state remains a little messy. Seemingly out of the blue, the Seminole Tribe of Florida launched its own Hard Rock Sportsbook app in the state on November 1, 2021. They legally accepted wagers for a little over a month. They were the only legal sportsbook operating in the state of Florida.
Hard Rock Online Sportsbook Florida’s run was short lived, however, as legal challenges and a ruling from a federal judge ultimately invalidated the betting compact that allowed them to launch in the first place. The website and mobile betting app went offline on December 4, 2021. Floridians are still waiting for further sports betting developments. In the mean time, there is no legal betting in the state.
Ohio
Hard Rock Sportsbook has confirmed that the brand will be entering the Ohio sports betting market. They’ve already got an in-state casino partner in the form of the Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati, and they’ve already begun advertising for their Hard Rock Ohio online sportsbook.
Former Cincinnati Reds legend Pete Rose, who was infamously banned by Major League Baseball for betting on games he was involved in, is set to place the brand’s first bet once Hard Rock Ohio opens its doors on January 1, 2023.
Hard Rock Ohio has also announced a unique, Ohio-exclusive sports betting bonus that rewards those who pre-register online sooner, rather than later. If you sign up before the following dates, you’ll earn the following Bonus Bet payouts:
December 1 – $100
January 1 – $50
The faster you pre-register, the better. Stay tuned for links and the Hard Rock Sportsbook Ohio promo code.
Illinois
Along with Ohio, Hard Rock Sportsbook’s official website has confirmed that the brand will also be launching in Illinois in the near future. Hard Rock submitted applications for both retail and online sports betting in Illinois on August 23, 2021, but is still awaiting further approval.
Hard Rock also recently got the green light to begin breaking ground on its $310 million casino project in Rockford, Illinois, which is expected to open up by November 2023. Once complete, the Hard Rock mobile app and website shouldn’t be too far off.
Future States for Hard Rock Sportsbook
Hard Rock Sportsbook is intriguing because there is plenty of potential here. As we’ve seen in New Jersey and Iowa, if Hard Rock has retail ties, they’re likely to get involved. Hard Rock is littered with casinos around the country. States with a Hard Rock Casino include Nevada, Mississippi, Florida, California, and Oklahoma.
Hard Rock Sportsbook Brand Relevance
Hard Rock has plenty of cache as they are an iconic gambling brand for the better part of half a century in the United States. They have a more significant presence in certain states, such as Florida, where Hard Rock has the naming rights of the Miami Dolphins’ beautiful new stadium.
Although Hard Rock is known for its operations as a casino player, it has now expanded into the fruitful field of sports betting, and there is no reason why it shouldn’t dominate the industry behind its strong reputation.
Legal Age to Play on Hard Rock Sportsbook
Legal betting age is determined at the state level, so it’s possible that there’s some deviation here in the future. But for now, on Hard Rock Sportsbook, users must be at least 21 years old to play. Every state that the brand is available in currently requires users to be 21 and up.
Unfortunately this means that younger, sports-enthusiast college students in legal states will not be allowed to play on Hard Rock and must wait until they’re of age before signing up and placing bets.
Hard Rock Sportsbook Mobile App Review
Hard Rock Sportsbook is available to play on mobile or desktop in any of the designated states listed above. You can place bets on either a Mac or PC, an Android or Apple device.
As mentioned above, New Jersey and Iowa players will unfortunately not have access to the new and improved version of the Hard Rock Sportsbook app. While those based in Arizona, Indiana, Tennessee, and Virginia can all login and wager using one universal app, NJ and IA players will need to seek out their respective state-specific Hard Rock mobile app.
Below we will review the Hard Rock Sportsbook mobile app that is currently available in AZ, IN, TN, and VA, including iOS and Android performance, the look and feel of the app, and more.
Hard Rock Sportsbook iOS Performance
The reviews for the Hard Rock Sportsbook app in regards to its iOS performance are solid. On the Apple App Store, Hard Rock Sportsbook has a 4.8 rating out of 5 stars with thousands of reviews.
Some of the best reviews laud Hard Rock’s simple interface. One user commented, “Hard Rock has a very easy to use app!” Another called it the best sportsbook app in Arizona.
The performance of the iOS app is more than sufficient. The app is vibrant, easy to navigate, and shows plenty of promise for a fairly new platform.
The app has a simple layout where the front page features the biggest games that you can wager on during that day or night. In addition, one of the bigger pluses of the Hard Rock Sportsbook mobile app is the solid selection of live betting options you’ll have on your home page. The available markets range anywhere from the biggest football games on Sunday to lower-level leagues in professional basketball and soccer.
Overall, the Hard Rock Sportsbook mobile app for iOS is incredibly clean, easy on the eyes, and littered with just about every function a sports bettor could possibly dream of. During our time testing out the app, we experienced little to no lagging, freezing, or any other issues in terms of software. It’s a strong product that should only get better as time moves forward.
Hard Rock Sportsbook Google Play Store Performance
As for Hard Rock Sportsbook’s performance on the Google Play Store, it is a lot of the same as the iOS product. Some reviews praise the Hard Rock Sportsbook app as having an excellent clean design, fast and responsive. The negative reviews were not happy with some glitching at certain times when trying to navigate and submit wagers. Despite this, the app has amassed over 10,000 downloads on Google Play alone and boasts a stellar 4.7 out of 5 stars rating with more than 500 reviews logged.
Hard Rock Desktop Review
The desktop option for Hard Rock Sportsbook is extremely straightforward. Similar to the separate mobile apps, New Jersey and Iowa users will need to head over to HardRockCasino.com to place any sports bets on desktop. All other users (AZ, IN, TN, VA) will book their desktop action at HardRockSportsbook.com. Simply pull up the website, select your state of operation, and let the wagering begin!
Unlike other sportsbooks, Hard Rock’s desktop client isn’t too busy – the homepage features popular sports betting offers for that day along with live betting options. As you can see in the screenshot below, the most popular sports leagues will be listed in the upper lefthand corner. If there’s a bet you like, click on the bet, and it will appear in your bet slip on the righthand side of the screen. You will be able to place a potential wager amount and see your potential payout before you confirm your selection.
If you would like to place a multi-leg wager, continue clicking on other bets you would like to add and select the ‘Parlay’ tab next to ‘Bets.’ Once you click on that tab, your parlay’s odds will be displayed and you can lock in your wager.
All in all, Hard Rock’s desktop client is smooth, sleek, and provided us with a generally enjoyable online wagering experience. The site does a great job of mirroring Hard Rock’s new mobile app, from the display of functions to the color scheme and overall familiarity.
Hard Rock Banking Methods
Hark Rock Sportsbook has plenty of options to deposit and withdraw funds from your account. Once you’re on the homepage of the mobile app, click on the last tab over to the right at the bottom of your screen. It is there where you will find your account balance, along with options to deposit or withdraw:
Deposit Methods at Hard Rock
Credit/Debit Cards: You can use your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card to instantly deposit funds into your account. In Tennessee, only debit cards are permitted.
ACH/ECheck: Users can safely fund a Hard Rock Sportsbook account by using their bank’s routing number.
PayPal: Some sportsbooks do not permit the use of PayPal – not Hard Rock. You can instantly transfer funds from your e-wallet to your Hard Rock balance.
Venmo: Similar to PayPal, players can now use Venmo to fund their Hard Rock account.
Hard Rock Play+ Card: All players can apply for a prepaid card on Hard Rock’s website. Once approved, you can fund your account with any credit card or ACH/ECheck transfer. The actual card will arrive in the mail within two weeks.
PayNearMe: This is a fun feature as users can deposit with cash at your local CVS or 7-11 using PayNearMe.
Cash at Hard Rock Cage: One of the more common methods is to bring cash and a photo ID to the Hard Rock casino cage to add funds to your account. This option will differ from state to state, with only select Hard Rock states offering in-person transactions.
How to Withdraw your Winnings at Hard Rock
As is industry standard, users will have fewer options to withdraw from their account as opposed to making a deposit. This shouldn’t be a problem as Hard Rock Sportsbook offers several different withdrawal methods for their users to utilize:
ACH/Echeck: Users can both deposit and withdraw using ACH. Customers can withdraw their winnings into their bank account using their routing and account number. This process takes 2-5 business days after the transaction is approved.
Hard Rock Play+ card: Withdraw your Hard Rock Play+ card at any ATM or use the card anywhere Discover is accepted.
PayPal: Users can withdraw funds to their PayPal account. When using PayPal, your funds will likely be available immediately after the transaction is approved.
Venmo: Hard Rock now allows withdrawals via Venmo as well. Take that sportsbook cash, send it to Venmo, and use it to pay your friend back from lunch.
Cash at Casino Cage: This is pretty simple and similar to the deposit method. Customers can request their funds at the casino cage and stop by their local Hard Rock affiliate with their photo ID and pick up their cash. Again, this method varies from state to state.
Customer Service for Hard Rock Sportsbook
Hard Rock is a noted hospitality behemoth, meaning there was never any doubt that the brand would deliver with its customer support department. 24/7 live chat is available in the app or online at the click of a button, while players can also reach out via email or on Twitter:
If using the New Jersey or Iowa version of the Hard Rock Sportsbook app, players can access live chat anytime between 8am-12am daily or shoot an email to [email protected] (NJ & IA only).
Both versions of the Hard Rock Sportsbook app also include a detailed FAQ page that users can search for any further questions or concerns.
Loyalty Program at Hard Rock Sportsbook
Hard Rock Casino has a loyalty program but it does not seem to carry this over into their sportsbook for the time being. This is a bummer for avid sports bettors. For casino players that also bet on sports, you have the opportunity to earn “Wheels of Rock.” The more casino games you play, the more credit you earn, and you will be able to spin the wheel and earn prizes and points.
Hard Rock Sportsbook does offer ongoing promotions for particular sporting events and has timely offers throughout the year, however we’d love to see the brand eventually roll out a loyalty program for sports bettors somewhere down the road.
