After a few weeks of some slightly-questionable matchups on Thursday Night Football, Amazon Prime is set to deliver a dandy tonight as the Baltimore Ravens charge into Raymond James Stadium and take on the struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With all of the injuries surrounding both sides heading into tonight’s game, there couldn’t possibly be a better time to take advantage of the latest welcome bonus on offer at PointsBet Sportsbook. Right now, all new users that register for an account using this link can claim a series of five “Second Chance Bets,” each worth up to $100! There is no PointsBet promo code required.

PointsBet Promo Code: $500 for TNF

PointsBet’s latest sports betting bonus is certainly not your typical offering. While most sportsbooks will toss out a standard, one-time “risk-free” bet, PointsBet is upping the stakes by giving all new players the opportunity to not only claim one Second Chance Bet, but five of them! Here’s how it works.

After registering for a brand new PointsBet account using this link, all eligible users will enter a five-day period where their first cash bet of each day is covered by the site in the event of a loss. This five-day window will not begin until you place your first cash bet with PointsBet. Once that bet is in, the promotional period begins and you’ll have five consecutive days to claim a $100 Second Chance Bet. If you happen to miss one of the days by not placing any bets, you will unfortunately lose the Second Chance opportunity for that day.

If your first bet of the day settles as a win, you will no longer be eligible for a Second Chance Bet that day. However if it does happen to lose, PointsBet will have your back with a 100% refund in the form of a free bet, up to $100. Free bets will arrive within 24 hours of bet settlement and must be used within 7 days or they will be removed from your account.

Players will not have to wager their entire free bet in one shot, as each one can be broken up however they’d like (example: a $100 free bet can be split up into four $25 free bets). As usual, free bets only pay out the winnings, so don’t expect to take home the value of the free bet even if you’ve placed it on a winning wager.

Baltimore Ravens +2 (-110) on PointsBet

Head coach John Harbaugh and his Baltimore Ravens (4-3, 2-4-1 ATS) will look to pick up consecutive wins for the first time during the 2022 regular season as they head into Tampa Bay and face a Buccaneers team that can’t seem to get out of its own way at the moment. Baltimore enters this matchup fresh off of a narrow 23-20 victory at home over the lowly Cleveland Browns, and now finds themselves tabbed as 2-point underdogs on PointsBet ahead of tonight’s clash with Tom Brady and company.

Injuries are the biggest storyline entering this week’s rendition of Thursday Night Football on Prime Video, as Baltimore will be without bruiser DE Calais Campbell and potentially a few key pieces on offense. While not ruled out just yet, superstar TE Mark Andrews did not practice all week with a knee injury and is listed as questionable for tonight’s game. RB Gus Edwards and WR Rashod Bateman were limited throughout the week as well, but are on track to play despite questionable designations of their own.

Baltimore has been solid on the road this season at 2-1 overall, while Tampa Bay hasn’t carried over the same home field advantage the team saw in 2021-22 (7-1 SU, 6-2 ATS), currently sitting at 1-2 overall at home with an 0-3 record against the spread. With a ton of injuries on defense and an offense that is currently averaging 14 points per game over its last three contests, Tampa Bay appears to be ripe for the picking. It’ll be on Lamar Jackson to carry the load surrounded by a gimpy supporting cast on primetime.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -2 (-105) with PointsBet Sportsbook

A common theme throughout Tom Brady’s legendary 23-year career is the fans, media, and just about anyone else involved in the sport writing both Brady and his teams off during times of hardship. Every single time you think he’s finished, Brady finds a way to respond and fire right back. Tonight, following back-to-back losses to the scuffling Pittsburgh Steelers and the rebuilding Carolina Panthers, Brady finds himself back in that position.

After opening up as a 1.5-point home underdog against Baltimore, the line for tonight’s game has since shifted 3.5 points, making Tampa Bay a 2-point favorite. This is likely due to the injuries on Baltimore’s offense, however the Buccaneers will also be a bit shorthanded when they take the field at Raymond James Stadium this evening. On offense, the Buccaneers will be without G Luke Goedeke, TE Cameron Brate and WR Russell Gage, while WR Julio Jones is questionable with a knee injury. On the other side of the football, Tampa will be missing 3/4ths of its secondary, as Antoine Winfield Jr., Carlton Davis III, and Sean Murphy-Bunting have all been ruled out. DT Akiem Hicks has also been ruled out.

After what went on last week in Carolina, it’s hard to believe that Tampa Bay can bounce back this week against a team of the Ravens’ caliber. It’s even harder to believe they can win considering the injuries on Tampa’s defense, which was absolutely torched on the ground by D’onta Foreman and Chubba Hubbard (24 carries for 181 yards, 7.5 YPC) in last week’s embarrassing 21-3 loss to the Panthers. But if there’s any one man fit for the job, it’s TB12. Two bad road losses can quickly be erased by a big win at home on primetime.
